Some athletes may find it difficult to afford the costs to participate in Handball.

Thankfully there are some great organizations that help provide funding for sports fees.  One such organization is KidSport.  KidSport subsidizes sport registration fees for local kids who live at/below the poverty line.  Applications are accepted throughout the year and grants are administered directly to the sports clubs.  If you don't see a chapter for your community, apply through the KidSport Alberta Provincial Fund.  Apply for a KidSport Grant

 

Another source you can access is the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Grant.  Canadian Tire Jumpstart program also subsidizes sport registration fees for those that live at Canada's Low-Income Cut-Offs.  Watch out for the deadline dates for their applications.  Apply for a CTJS Grant
